Processo, a maior das afinidades. Desde a linha que se expande pela folha branca, à mão que modela e cria a peça. Na joalharia como na escultura, tudo parte do desenho, esse acto tão livre quanto rigoroso que nos leva desde a mais sinuosa curva até ao rigor geométrico.
Processo é um colar. Podia ser os traços pensados pela ponta do lápis. A confusão criativa (des)construída, a mente (re)organizada. O esfuminho do esboço que inicia a criação em fios emaranhados. O desenho rigoroso materializado na borracha hirta que sabe como se apresentar e que forma quer tomar. Também Firmino começa plano, da mente, do olhar, para o papel. De seguida, a matéria bruta ganha forma pelas mãos do criador. Fecha-se o ciclo na peça (im)perfeita, na expressão, no movimento que transmite.
Processo concentra na forma de colar os momentos da criação, desde o pensamento em nós, à forma imaculada da linha da borracha, ao momento em que se pousa num pescoço e, mesmo imóvel, ganha vida.

Process
Process, the greatest of affinities. From the line that expands across the white sheet to the hand that models and creates the piece. In jewellery, as in sculpture, everything is part of the design that acts as free as it is rigorous and takes us from the most sinuous curve to geometric rigour.
Process is a necklace. It could be the lines thought by the tip of the pencil. The (de)constructed creative confusion, the (re)organised mind. The blur of the sketch begins the creation in tangled threads. The rigorous design materialised in stiff rubber that knows how to present itself and what shape it wants to take. Firmino also starts flat, from the mind, from the look to the paper. Then, the raw material takes shape by the hands of the creator. The cycle closes in the (im)perfect piece, in the expression, in the movement it transmits.
The process focuses on how to glue together the moments of creation, from the thought within us to the immaculate shape of the rubber line to the moment it rests on a neck and, even when motionless, comes to life.

Telma Pinto de Oliveira
Telma Oliveira (Porto, 1986), mestre em Arquitetura (FAUP, 2011). Explora o mundo da joalharia contemporânea desde 2012 (Escola Engenho e Arte). Em 2014 fundou sua marca de design de joalharia WEK, onde funde o trabalho artesanal e tecnologia, nomeadamente a impressão 3D. Em 2020 assumiu o seu trabalho em nome próprio, Telma Oli, de forma a expressar as suas ideias e pensamentos através da fusão de várias artes, estabelecendo uma forte relação entre a joalharia conceptual e o desenho.

Telma Oliveira (Porto, 1986), a master’s in architecture (FAUP, 2011), has been exploring the contemporary jewellery world since 2012 (Engenho e Arte). In 2004, Telma founded her jewellery brand WEK, which worked between craftsmanship and technology, mainly 3D printing. In 2020, she started her work, Telma Oli, to express her ideas and thoughts through the fusion of various arts based on drawing and reflecting on jewellery and design.
